Once upon a time, there was a woman who loved good deals. She would go shopping because there was nothing else to do (or there was but she was avoiding it). She was really good at it, she would go to the stores searching for all the good deals she could get, for herself, her husband, her kids and even for her dog.
She didn’t have a set budget for shopping, but she didn’t buy expensive stuff either. She definitely got a lot of stuff though.
She didn’t understand why she was not happy, why she’s always overwhelmed and anxious.
Looking back at her life she tried to search for the times she was fulfilled, the moments that mattered to her. And she realized that when she lived in that small apartment with just few pieces of furniture, life was much easier. She focused more on what matters, rather than the bunch of stuff she thought she’s happy to buy.
She’s working hard to get rid of the stuff she owns now.. donating, recycling or giving them away. She’s realizing that the more space she has, the happier she becomes.
The End
